Join us at the Bakhtar Casey Nawroz Festival, a vibrant celebration, takes place on Saturday, 5th April at 1:00PM.

Nawroz, meaning “New Day,” is a time-honoured tradition observed by millions worldwide, symbolising renewal, hope, and unity. The Bakhtar Casey Nawroz Festival is a community-driven event that brings together people of all backgrounds to celebrate cultural diversity through music, dance, traditional performances, various activities and delicious cuisine.

Last year, this festival was a tremendous success, with close to 3,000 attendees coming together to celebrate. This year, we anticipate an even larger turnout, making it an excellent opportunity to connect with the community. You will also have the chance to explore over 20 different stallholders, featuring various organisations showcasing their work and services.

In the spirit of inclusivity, we also celebrate Eid and Easter to bring the wider community together, fostering unity and shared values through various activities for families and children, including food, music, and sports. This festival is not only a joyous occasion but also an opportunity to strengthen community bonds and embrace the richness of our diverse traditions.
